Getting from Denver International Airport (DEN) to Boulder is straightforward once you know your options — but winter weather and festival crowds can change the equation fast. Here's a practical rundown of every realistic way to make the trip, so you can plan confidently before the Sundance Film Festival's Boulder debut in January 2027.

RTD AB Line (SkyRide Bus)

The most budget-friendly option is the RTD AB SkyRide route, which runs directly between DEN and Boulder's Transit Center on 14th Street. The ride takes roughly 60–80 minutes under normal conditions, depending on traffic and stop patterns. Buses run throughout the day, but frequency can be limited — especially early morning or late at night — so always check the current RTD schedule before you travel. Fares are a fraction of a rideshare and exact change or an RTD MyRide card is handy to have.

Shared-Ride Shuttles
