The offer runs through Friday, October 30 at midnight — or until supply runs out, whichever comes first.

Discounted Prices

Per TownLift, here's what Utah residents will pay with the promo code applied (prices were announced via Sundance Institute email and may not yet appear on the official ticketing page):

Why It Matters for Festivalgoers

The 2027 festival marks a major transition: after decades rooted in Park City and Salt Lake City, Sundance moves to Boulder, Colorado, for its first run there, January 21–31, 2027. The online portion of the festival runs January 28–31, making these online passes a way for fans anywhere — Utah included — to participate without traveling to Boulder.

The discount is a clear acknowledgment of Utah's long relationship with the festival. For longtime Park City attendees weighing whether to make the trip to Boulder or watch from home, the reduced online pricing could tip the scales toward a virtual experience this year.

Note: The 20% discount is available to Utah residents only. Be ready at 10 a.m. MT on October 15 — passes are subject to availability and the offer closes October 30 at midnight at the latest.
