Nearby towns (cheaper; commute in)

If Boulder is full or pricey, look at Louisville, Superior, Broomfield, Longmont, or Denver. The RTD Flatiron Flyer bus connects Denver and Boulder, and US-36 is a straightforward drive. Staying along the US-36 corridor can save a lot during festival week.

Boulder passed an ordinance letting residents obtain festival lodging licenses to sublease their homes during Sundance, which may add short-term options — but expect high demand. Book early.
